Great News for Musician Twihards!! New Moon Soundtrack Music Notes is here!!

I was on the way back from lunch at Sungei Wang when I suddenly saw a book with "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" caption. As a twihard, I quickly stopped to look what is it since it is displayed in a musical instrument store.

Well, what do you know!! It's actually a music note book for piano, vocal and guitar. Any musicians among twihards here? I know one who is still going for guitar lessons. LOL! So, maybe you'll want to buy it to practice your piano, vocal or guitar skills while having fun with twilight.

You can grab one at Chambers Music store in Level 3, Sungei Wang but sorry, I didn't ask about the price.

Thats the news TwiHards!!!  @Twilight (Summit Entertainment) tweeted that you will get a chance to watch the much awaited Eclipse Trailer if you watch Remember Me!!!

I am not so sure if this applies to all countries or just the US but I do think that It might be worth it.  Or maybe I can pull some strings and just pop in during the pre-movie trailers and watch it then get my a** out of the room before the movie starts????

Walmart's 'New Moon' DVD Ultimate Fan Edition Covers Revealed!

THIS IS TOTALLY NOT FAIR!!! Summit is taking a different approach on Eclipse. They are not gonna release Eclipse trailer anytime soon....but decided to put 7 minutes of Eclipse trailer/sneak peak in Walmart's 'New Moon' DVD Ultimate Fan Edition!! AGAIN!! THIS IS TOTALLY NOT FAIR!!!! Uwaaaa!!! And of course we can't get this in Malaysia. (I am puching the wall!!)

Breaking Dawn To Begin Shoot In October?

Deadline Hollywood reports that BD is up in full swing and starts shooting in October, two movies, back-to-back.  Lets see what they say:

"I have this from several sources, and it's definitive. Filming on the back-to-back movies would begin in mid-October, and Summit Entertainment is looking at "high-end" directors. Breaking Dawn is the longest in Stephenie Meyer's 4-book series lengthwise and it's the most graphic -- presenting birth, attempted murder, death, and of course vampire bites."

Hmm...they also mentioned that Melissa will still be helming the screenplay.  Is this true?  Sources say that its the closest we can get to the truth.  Hmmm (again)...

Only Summit can confirm but there's still nothing yet.  No news.  NADA.  Oh, we have to just wait...

More EW Magazine Scans On Twilight The Graphic Novel!!!

As promised, the good folks at the Entertainment Weekly Magazine published a Sneak Peek at the up-coming Twilight The Graphic Novel Volume 1 hitting stores March 16th, in their 29 Jan issue featuring Jay Leno on the cover. I managed to get my hands on the (scarce) supply of EW and got some scans for you guys. EW's Tina Jordan also interviewed Stephenie on the whole graphic novel thing.

Q: Fans of your book who have come to identify Edward and Bella with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will find very different-looking characters here. Does this art hew more closely to your original descriptions?

A: This was something that I discussed with Yen Press long before we brought in an artist. It was important to us both that this novel be an interpretation of the novel, rather than a cartoon version of the movie. Young took her inspiration directly from the descriptions in the novel, and as a result, the images are much closer to the characters I see in my head than any actual hman being could be

Q: You looked at all the art ahead of time. Did you ever ask the artist to change things?

A: I did approve all of the art in both the sketch and the final forms. Mostly I just enjoyed looking at Young's amazing images. Occasionally I did ask for minor adjustments. Things like: Charlie's hair should be curlier, Eric's hair should be darker, the cafeteria tables should be square. I also asked for the cars to be changed to exactly the models that I described, though no one cares about that besides me.

Q: How does reading the graphic novel compare with reading the original? Does it bring something new to the experience for you?

A: For me, it takes me back to the days when I as writing Twilight. It's been awhile since I was really able to read Twilight; there is so much baggage attached to that book for me now. It seems like all I can see are the mistakes in the writing. Reading Young's version brought me back to the feeling I had when I was writing and it was just me and the characters again. I love that. I thank her for it.

Q: When this project is finished, are you done with Twilight?

A: I can't say that I am done with Twilight forever. I'm not working on anything new Twilight-related now, and probably not for awhile. But there's still a possibility that I'll go back and close some of the open doors

Sexy Hot Angelina Jolie on Galaxie Cover!!

Galaxie is back with it's 1st February issue and this time, the sexy hot Angelina Jolie is on the cover. I personally would love for her to play the role of Rosalie, but maybe she is a bit too mature for the role. But she is gorgeous!!

Two TwiMisses At The Grammy's...Aww!!!

Well folks... I really hate to burst your bubbles but we had two TwiMisses at the recent Grammy's (in case you didn't know just yet)...

We were in the:

1. TOP 5 nominations for Best Compilation Soundtrack Album For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media which is awarded to the Artist(s) and/or Producer(s) of a majority of the tracks on the album, or to the individual(s) actively responsible for the concept and musical direction and for the selection of artists, songs and producers, as applicable. Our nomination was through The Twilight Original Soundtrack and;

2. TOP 4 nominations for Best Song Written For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media. It is a Songwriter(s) award. For a song (melody & lyrics) written specifically for a motion picture, television or other visual media, and released for the first time during the Eligibility Year. (Artist names appear in parentheses.) Singles or Tracks only. We were nominated thanks to the awesome works of Paramore in Decode...

However, we didn't make the top spot as The Best Soundtrack goes to Slumdog Millionaire which also clinched the Best Song with Jai Ho.

I honestly feel that Paramore is much better than Jai Ho in telling the story of the movie in just one song... I may be biased but hey, I have nothing against Jai Ho, I love Nicole and PCD but Decode should have won... Whatever, Im no Grammy judge so... Lucky I wasn't or UP would not have won the Best Score either LOL...

But TwiHards... Don't be sad. Loosing is a part of the journey to success. Anyways, lets hope we fare better next year...
