Breaking Dawn filming news - Rob, Kristen & Mackenzie touching down in Vancouver

Robert Pattinson sported a sexy letterman jacket as he arrived at the Vancouver airport on Monday, February 21st 2011.

Kristen Stewart was along for the flight, though the injured actress stayed mostly hidden as they made their way to their awaiting vehicles.

The twosome are in town to continue work on Breaking Dawn as production moves from Louisiana to the Canadian city where they shot New Moon and Eclipse. Robert is coming off a weekend of doing press for Water For Elephants, and we got a peek at his sweet chemistry with Reese Witherspoon when the two talked about their love scenes. He's back in Twilight mode for the time being, and he's also getting into the act of playing a father.

Mackenzie Foy, who plays Edward and Bella's daughter Renesmee, touched down and was spotted signing autographs for fans on Sunday, February 20th 2011.

Breaking Dawn filming news: Rob will be singing Renesmee's lullaby to Mackenzie

According to MackenzieFoy.com, Robert Pattinson will be filming the scene where Edward actually sings Renesmee’s lullaby to his daughter Renesmee (aka Mackenzie Foy) this week! This scene will more than likely be one of the best parts of Breaking Dawn part 2.

Meet the four little girls who are playing Renesmee!

As you already know, Mackenzie Foy has been officially cast as Renesmee. Although Mackenzie is the only girl confirmed by Summit there are many names, 3 to be exact, of possible “little Renesmees”.

According to a Mackenzie Foy fansite, Mackenzie’s face will be “digitally transferred” onto the other three girls’ bodies to show Renesmee’s rapid growth.

Eliza Faria looks like the youngest Renesmee hired thus far, followed by the six-year-old actress from The Blind Side and The Shunning, Rachel St. Gelais – and then Sierra Pitkin, who is best known for her part in Juno.

- Mackenzie Foy: Mackenzie is the 10 years old girl who plays Renesmee. Mackenzie’s been modeling since she was 3 years old, and started acting at age of 6. Stephenie Meyer confirmed her as Renesmee the past October.

- Eliza Faria: She’s listed as “Little Renesmee” on the Breaking Dawn IMDb’s page.

- Rachel St. Gelais: She’s a 6 year-old actress known for “The Blind Side” and “The Shunning”.

Rachel also was caught tweeting with Breaking Dawn cast members Erik Odom (aka Peter) and Valorie Curry (aka Charlotte), further confirming her part.

Update on 'Breaking Dawn' Set

From the page of Nessie Mackenzie;

As you already know, the last chapter of the Twilight saga: Breaking Dawn is being filmed in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The cast is expected to move to Vancouver, Canada in February to end with the shooting of both movies (Breaking Dawn part I & Breaking Dawn part II).

Yes, they’re filming BD part I and part II at the same time. “They shoot the battle, then it’s the end, then another love scene. And that’s how it goes. Part I, part II. Part I, part II. Only interiors, though” Says our On-Set source. We’re guessing they’re shooting both films at the same time to avoid any kind of problems with their ages/look. But our source says “It’s also a post-production matter. It’ll be easier for them to edit the whole thing at the same time”

About the cast: “They’re having a great time on set. They’re not only working, but having fun with friends. Lots of private parties, movies and jokes. ”

“It’s like a huge family. Robert walks on set like ‘Where’s my daughter?’ (referring to Mackenzie). He’s really funny” It sounds like they’re having so much fun on set!

I know most of us still get the goosebumps at how this particular girl is such a perfect Renesmee. Take a look at her acting skills. :)



To me, her acting is not bad for a child actress but she can't beat our Dakota Fanning when she was one. :)

However, I do love the scene where she is saying "daddy, daddy!!" while running. Can't help imagining she is running towards Edward which if any might end up in Breaking Dawn Part 2. And that is like 24 months to go!!!!
