Peter Facinelli talks about Breaking Dawn and other Twilight scenes

Peter Facinelli was one of the special guests at the Los Angeles Twilight Convention that was held on the 4th - 6th, March 2011. TwiFans.com tweeted some of his answers to the questions that was posed to him.

Did anyone know that Peter laid on top of Kristen during the audition and shouted at Rob to get the venom out? Peter thought it would look weird if anyone walked in on that scene.

Peter said if he was younger he would have loved to play Edward.

It was Peter's idea to drop Edward during the Eclipse fight training. He thought Carlisle should one up Edward cause he's older.

Peter couldn't put Twilight down when he got the book for his meeting with Catherine Hardwicke.

Peter says the family scenes are like one big party. And loves those scenes in every Twilight movie.

Peter says during Rosalie's flashback, Nikki Reed couldn't "burst" through the doors and had to take several takes.

About 'Breaking Dawn'

Peter has filmed one day in Vancouver for Breaking Dawn and it was cold and rainy.

Peter says Bill Condon is enjoyable and very nice. Very communicative and receptive to ideas but hasn't seen any finished product.

Breaking Dawn script is Peter's fav script. It follows the book but has variations that we will like.

Peter thinks it is more exciting because we wouldn't want to see 2 hours of Bella on the couch. (when she's pregnant with Renesmee)

Peter says he likes surprises cause everyone already knows the books and it adds some excitement for fans.

Peter Facinelli says shooting the ending sequence was sad

MTV interviewed Peter Facinelli on the red carpet at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 16th. We previously posted Peter talking about Kristen as a vampire. Here Peter talked about lots of dance numbers, how fantastic director Bill Condon is and shooting the ending sequence was ‘sad’.

“We’re shooting two at once so it’s a little brutal on the hours, but I think we’re getting good stuff. Bill Condon’s fantastic. He’s just such a great actor’s director. He’s really collaborative, and he’s a joy to work with.”

“The other day when we shot that ending sequence, we knew that was the ending of the last two movies and it got a little melancholy. It was sad.”

'Breaking Dawn' Cast Tweets About Filming and Photoshoot This Week

It seems that the cast is really enjoying themselves while filming 'Breaking Dawn'. Why shouldn't they be? They have the coolest job in the world. It is so cool to get to have fun at work. :)

On another note, The Vancouver Sun mentioned on one of its post that the cast will be back at Voncouver filming in a month.

And... the Twilight countdown begins. Just one month, vampire fans, until Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Launter touch down in Vancouver for filming of Breaking Dawn.

New Interview — Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner & Peter Facinelli Talk Breaking Dawn!

This is a great interview where Rob, Kristen, Taylor and Peter talks about all things Breaking Dawn like Edward's hair, Bella's wedding dress, Taylor filming shirtless and so much more!

With the release of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse looming large on the horizon, the cast and crew of the film have spoken frequently with the press in recent weeks about the challenges of returning to Stephenie Meyer's source material to breathe more life into the author's now-iconic characters. But as excited as fans are for the new film, they're almost equally eager to see what's in store in the future – specifically, how the cast and filmmakers will successfully adapt Breaking Dawn, the supposedly batsh*t fourth book in the series, into a film that can be seen by the same audiences as its predecessors.

Cinematical joined the rest of Los Angeles' entertainment press at the recent junket for Eclipse, where "the big three" – Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner – were joined by many of the film's costars and crew members. Look for an exclusive interview on the site with Eclipse director David Slade later in the week, but in the meantime, check out what the cast and crew have to say about what's in store for Breaking Dawn.

In Breaking Dawn, what do you think Edward's evolution will be?

Pattinson: I haven't read it yet! I mean, it's weird - I'm starting it a month after this job and it's something I'm quite glad I haven't read it yet. I didn't intend to not read it until now, it's quite exciting. I have no idea, I just heard brief rumors about what happens in the story but I don't really know what happens at all

Your current haircut is shorter than Edward's. How are you going to go about getting your long hair back for Breaking Dawn?

Pattinson: I'm thinking maybe Edward got a haircut - it might be easier. I didn't even think about that when I got it cut, that is a bit silly. Vampires can cut their hair though, so I like the idea of Edward having a shaved head in the last one. That [would be] pretty cool.

Since Breaking Dawn will be two movies, do you if one movie will be from your perspective and one will be from Rob's?

Lautner: I do know it will be two, which I am extremely excited about. It is going to be great. Bill Condon is doing both. I it going to be awesome and I can't wait to work with him.

Do you have a clause in your contract saying you have to keep your shirt on?

Lautner: No clause (laughs). Whatever the book says is most likely what we are going to do.

Now that you've done three of these are there things that you wish had made into the movie from the book that didn't?

Stewart: Yeah, totally - there are a million things. I mean every single time we watch one of the movies, especially when the cast watches it together, it's always an incredibly frustrating experience. That's why I'm glad that Breaking Dawn is going to be two movies, which I can finally say. So there's going to be less of that, less of having to lose stuff. I know you want specific things but I'm trying to think of one now but I can't.

How long have you known that Breaking Dawn was going to be two films, and how long will the shoot be?

Stewart: The shoot is going to be something like six months. We start in October. I think we're not going to be finished until maybe March or something, maybe February. I clearly don't really look at the schedule. I had to hold onto this forever. They've been talking about it for a really long time and we all definitely knew that it was going to be two movies forever now. It's been really hard not to say that. We're all really stoked on that.

What are you most looking forward to doing when you start shooting Breaking Dawn?

Facinelli: I'm looking forward to working with Bill Condon. He's phenomenal. I'm looking forward to hearing what his thoughts are on the series and the movie. It's cool because all these different directors have these different interpretations. You don't get complacent and sit back and go, "Ok. I know these characters." They're always asking you different questions and getting you to think deeper.

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner walk the black carpet at The Twilight Saga: Eclipse LA premiere

They had been waiting patiently all week, forming a make-shift tent city outside the Los Angeles Nokia Theatre.

Last night the discomfort paid off as The Twilight Saga: Eclipse stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner walked the black carpet to deafening screams.

The dedicated Twi-hards were joined by host of celebrity fans for the most eagerly-awaited premiere of the year

The stars: Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner arrive at the premiere of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse in Los Angeles

Big night: Kristen wore white Elie Saab and Pattinson, her real-life boyfriend, a red Gucci suit

Despite the frenzy, Pattinson, who wore a red Gucci suit, said he wouldn't be staying out late.

'I have to work tomorrow,' he said. 'I have got a 5am start on a film, Water For Elephants.'

The 24-year-old British actor said he'd miss playing his character Edward Cullen when the series finished.

'I like all the people that I work with and I guess I'm going to miss all this [indicating the frenzied crowd] as well,' he said

One for the album: After waiting all week, a few lucky fans meet Pattinson and get a photo to treasure

His co-star Lautner, who plays Jacob Black, said he found walking out in front of all the fans really nerve-racking.

'I get so nervous, really nervous,' admitted the 18-year-old.

'If it's just me and Kristen it's not good because we're both nervous so we just feed into each other. So it's not good.

'But this is amazing to come up here and see thousands of fans here.'

He said walking around without his shirt - his werewolf character's trademark - could get too much.

'It's tough, it was easier this time than New Moon, but it's still a big challenge.

'We have blankets and heaters to cuddle up to, but you've gotta go through the pain.'

Kristen, in a white backless Elie Saab gown, said she had changed her heels halfway through meeting her fans as she couldn't walk in them.

'I'm ready to go inside, but only because my feet hurt,' said the 20-year-old, who plays Bella Swan.

'It was fun,' she said, of the movie.

'I was so very much in her [Bella's] mind that I didn't know how it was going to go. She grows up in this movie, she chooses Edward, she doesn't need him anymore.'

Twilight author Stephenie Meyer said she had been heavily involved in turning her words into a movie, spending a lot of late nights on set.

But she said it would never match up to her first love - penning books.

'There's nothing like writing, all by yourself in a quiet room, there's no greater feeling than that,' she said.

Meyer said she couldn't quite believe she was behind the huge premiere.
'I really can't process that. It's easier to just feel that you've snuck into the party, that's easier,' she laughed.

Screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg said converting the Eclipse book onto the big screen was her favourite writing experience.

'It's a whole different challenge,' she said. 'I loved doing it, diving into someone else's work.'

Among the celebrity fans was Jennifer Love Hewitt, who said she was firmly on Team Edward.

'He sparkles in the sunlight, he's hopelessly devoted, he's never going to leave her. What more do you need?'

The Ghost Whisperer actress said she had read all the books.

'Here I was, 30 years old, laying in my bed, falling in love with vampires. I just loved it.'

Julia Jones, who plays she-wolf Leah Clearwater, said she embraced the chance to play the flawed character.

Although beautiful in the flesh, in the movie she is made to look dowdy and ugly.

'I came down here yesterday and met some of the fans and they were like, "Thank God, you're pretty in real life",' she laughed.

'I didn't look pretty in the film but that was intentional.'

Dakota Fanning plays evil Volturi vampire Jane.

'It was really fun, getting to have the dramatic make-up and be paler than this. I didn't know I could be!'

She said her character was complicated: 'I don't know that I relate to Jane, she just tries to be evil for the sake of being evil.'

Charlie Bewley, who plays Volturi Demetri, said he hadn't yet seen the movie.

'It's actually a really great learning curve to work with different directors,' he said. 'I've got a wonderful character.'

Peter Facinelli, who plays Dr Carlisle Cullen, said he'd learnt new skills during filming.

'People ask me, doing all this vampire training, does that make you a better fighter?

'And I'm like, I could fight you but I'd have to miss you by two inches every time,' he told MySpace's live streaming.

Ashley Green, who plays Alice Cullen, said the training was intense, with hardly any stunt doubles used.

'It's pretty much all us.'

Peter Facinelli Offers Up A Meaty 'Eclipse' Tease: 'It's Dangerous And Deadly'

Now that you all have your own copies of the "New Moon" DVD on hand (or are anxiously awaiting giving a finger wagging to your friendly neighborhood postal worker ~~ we haven't, sigh....it takes awhile to arrive here in Malaysia), papa Cullen himself, Peter Facinelli, figured that it was precisely the right time to look, uh, forward at the future of the "Twilight" franchise.

On Friday night at New York City midnight release party for "NM" at Best Buy, Peter declared that "Eclipse" was his favorite book in the series because of the personal connection (or lack there of) his alter-ego, Carlisle, has to the main storyline. "You have the love triangle, and within that, there's a looming presence that's threatening the family, so there's a lot going on within our family," he said, adding that the "threat" majorly affects the patriarch's ability to make important decisions.

"Carlisle is used to getting information and having that information through Edward, who can read minds, and Alice, who can read the future, so that communication is shut off and we're not quite sure where this threat is coming from," Peter continued. "We know it's there, we know it's dangerous and deadly."

So what's the almighty coven leader to do? "Carlisle's kind of got to keep it together and protect his family. He's kind of flying with blinders on."

If that promise of action isn't enough to keep your mouth watering for "Eclipse," Peter said (like most of the rest of the cast has before him), "We have some great battle sequences in there. It's a really good story."

Peter Facinelli Presents New ‘Twilight’ Charity ‘Twihards4Charity’

Twilight Examiner has an exclusive on Peter Facinelli (aka Dr. Carlisle Cullen) supporting a new Twilight Charity with his friend Rob DeFranco and 211Me called Twihards4Charity.

So, what Rob DeFranco and 211me have decided to do, with the help and support of Twilight star Peter Facinelli, is create a place where Twilight fans can go to share in the joy of giving.

The website is www.Twihards4Charity.com, and it has just launched this weekend.

The official mission of the new campaign is as follows:

Twihards4Charity is a new social campaign that helps Twilight fans from all over the world make a difference by uniting them with a common goal – to give to those in need through charities and special causes. 211me has brought in sponsors, brands and support from celebrity favorites like Peter Facinelli to provide TwiHards with Twilight-themed products they love. In return, a portion of the proceeds from every sale will go to a designated cause or charity.

As the charity’s first offer, Twihards4Charity “brings you a Valentine’s Day bouquet you can’t pass up. Whether it’s for your sweetheart, your best friend, or a fellow Twihard, this is a perfect gift to say ‘Happy Valentine’s Day.’” The details of the Valentine’s Day offer from Twihards4Charity are as follows: for $49.95, the bouquet contains 12 long-stemmed red roses from 1800Flowers, as well as a Twilight giftcard and poster from Hallmark. For every bouquet sold, five dollars of the proceeds will go to Haiti. Details on ordering this bouquet are available the Twihards4Charity website.

“You know, I’m going to continue doing my charity stuff, but this website is more about uniting the Twihards, and starting with Haiti. So, maybe it is one of those things where we put a vote out [to see what fans want to support next],” he says. This was also figured into the original plan for the page too, he reveals. “When I talked to Rob, I said ‘I don’t want this to be trying to force people to, you know, do our charities, I want them to be able to pool together for a common cause.’ But I think everyone would recognize that right now Haiti needs help, so I thought well we’ll start with Haiti and go from there.”

Thank you Peter Facinelli! He is such a wonderful man. Learn more at Twihards4Charity! To order the Twilight Valentine’s Day Bundle go to 1800Flowers.
