The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide expected to go on sale 12 April, 2011

We have been waiting for this book for awhile now and until now, it is still not ready. I wish she is working in Midnight Sun too.

So, Galaxie Magazine blogged today and gave an update on the book.

Well, according to Entertainment Weekly, it’s a reference book by Stephenie Meyer called The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide.
OK, if you Twi-hards are disappointed that it’s not another sequel, consider this: There will be plenty of brand-new details and it is designed to accompany the best-selling novels.
The book is expected to go on sale 12 April, 2011 and the price is US$24.99. It will include character profiles, outtakes, a conversation with the Twilight author, genealogical charts, maps, extensive cross references and art by Young Kim, the same person who illustrated Twilight: The Graphic Novel, Volume 1.
I’m always amazed at how many in-depth questions my readers have about my characters and the world within the Twilight Saga. With The Official Illustrated Guide, I hoped we could incorporate as many details as possible, including character histories, like Alice’s back story,” Stephenie was quoted saying.
Thank you Galaxie for giving us the news update. :)
