Razzie Award vs Virgin Media Movie Award

I think most of us know that The Twilight Saga: Eclipse has been nominated in various category in Razzie Award. Well, I think that it is just an award of jealousy. :P and Sandra Bullock won Oscar right after she won Razzie. What does that say? ;) We all know she is a brilliant actress.

I am not gonna touch on Razzie but I am gonna mention about Virgin Media Movie Award. The twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart is up for an award. Listed are direct link to votes.

Angela Sarafyan (Tia) gushes over Breaking Dawn's castmates & director

Angela Sarafyan came onto the "Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn" set last November and was warmly welcomed by the director as well as her castmates. When MTV News recently spoke to Sarafyan, who plays vampire Tia of the Egyptian coven, she gushed about her experience on the movie set.

"I went on-set and met Bill Condon and he is truly such a great, great person," she said. "I'm honestly humbled by the fact that he is kind and generous and, with the enormity of this film, has been so graceful about giving every actor their time. He immediately put me on a great starting point. We were all in this incredible Egyptian casbah in Baton Rouge [back in November] and it was quite magnificent. It was quite easy. It's not as pressure-filled as you'd think. It felt like an independent project where everyone's having a nice time, no one's pressured. It's been that way almost every day that we've worked on this."

Three movies into the franchise already, the crew is currently in the midst of filming the final two films, "Breaking Dawn" parts one and two, and the "Twilight" newbie says that things are so relaxed on the set that she doesn't feel like a rookie castmate.

"I was telling my mom, and I say these kids, they're [probably] people who are not very nice and they're stuck up ... and they're the complete opposite. They're very kind and sweet and normal and awesome," she explained. "I don't think I could find anything bad to say about a single person on the set. They're quite humble and normal people. It was a delight to come into that.

"About being the new kid on the set, there's so many of us, we've all become a family ultimately,"
she added. "It's been quite easy."

Sarafyan even got to help create a bit of backstory in order to play Tia.
"I always envisioned Tia like Cleopatra and Benjamin like Marc Anthony, so even though they're the younger vampires, they're very strong-willed and rebels. We have this entire history of how they were 4 and they met and they fell in love and at 16 they turned into vampires," she explained. "It's something along those lines. And it's funny, I spoke to Stephenie Meyer and she has a similar idea of what we created."

Now Sarafyan and the rest of the cast are "actually in the middle of it all. We're midway through and we're not necessarily shooting as the script goes." And as Robert Pattinson recently revealed, the big fight scene is currently being shot.

"We're shooting it on green screen, so it's really quite unpredictable because we don't know what we're going to be doing day to day. Every character is pretty much in it except Ashley Greene's character and Jackson [Rathbone's] character. Were spending 14 hours a day hanging out with each other and it's been really exciting because at the end of the day, we don't know what it's going to look like," Sarafyan said. "It's almost half the script, so it's taking a while to shoot it."

Breaking Dawn filming news - CGI & Renesmee

MackenzieFoy.com has gained exclusive information as to how the CGI will rapidly age Renesmee for Breaking Dawn Part 2.

"We now have more info about the CGI techniques that are going to be used in Breaking Dawn to rapidly age Mackenzie’s character Renesmee. The CGI team is going to use a mixture of ‘Motion Capture’ and ‘Live Action’ Photography by fitting Mackenzie with an individually made skull cap fitted with a tiny camera positioned in front of her face. Like Avatar, the information collected about her facial expressions and eyes is then transmitted to computers.

As reported back in October, Mackenzie’s face will then be digitally transferred onto the face and body of a younger child to create the illusion of her character’s rapid ageing. Besides the performance capture data which will be transferred directly to the computers, numerous reference cameras will give the digital artists multiple angles of each performance. All live action and motion capture footage will then be composited on screen."

Peter Facinelli says shooting the ending sequence was sad

MTV interviewed Peter Facinelli on the red carpet at the 2011 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 16th. We previously posted Peter talking about Kristen as a vampire. Here Peter talked about lots of dance numbers, how fantastic director Bill Condon is and shooting the ending sequence was ‘sad’.

“We’re shooting two at once so it’s a little brutal on the hours, but I think we’re getting good stuff. Bill Condon’s fantastic. He’s just such a great actor’s director. He’s really collaborative, and he’s a joy to work with.”

“The other day when we shot that ending sequence, we knew that was the ending of the last two movies and it got a little melancholy. It was sad.”

Breaking Dawn filming news - The Swan residence

Newsgirl News is keeping updates on the progress of the construction of the exterior on the Swan's residence in Surrey, British Columbia.

"Construction started early this morning in Kerry Park in Surrey. Twilight fans will be thrilled to learn that filming will return to British Columbia mid February. The Swan House was a location fans flocked to see during filming of both New Moon and Eclipse. The house is just a shell of a house with no interior decoration or structural design. The art department hangs the drapes and puts a lamp in the front window but the interior of the house is an empty shell. The interior shots of “The Swan House” are filmed on a sound stage.

The house will take about 7 to 10 days to complete. A large chain link fence surrounds the property and several No Trespassing Signs are hanging on the fence. Security at this location is quite high due to some naughty fans trying to collect a small bit of Movie History.

There are three large trees that have to be planted in front of the house and then a large tree outside of Bella’s bedroom window. Some of the landscaping has been completed and the driveway going down to the underground garage is also complete."

"Day three of construction. The giant trees have arrived and they will be planted in front of the house. Jacobs tree will be planted at the side of the house just outside of the bay window. "

"Day five of the construction of the Swan House. The house will be used for several outdoor scenes for Breaking Dawn. Film dates for the production will be from February 21 to April 13,2011."

Breaking Dawn Filming News - Humans headed to Lousiana

As per Justin Chon's tweets earlier this month, it was speculated that the wedding scene was going to be filmed in Vancouver.

However, as with Michael Welch (aka Mike Newton), Justin Chon (aka Eric Yorkie), and Christian Serratos (aka Angela Webber) all have recently tweeted that they are on there way to Louisiana to film Breaking Dawn, now it is believed that the interior shots for the wedding scene will be shot in Louisiana, and there must be exterior shots for the wedding involving the humans, that they may be shooting in Vancouver.

Style Star: Kristen Stewart - Free Spirited Chic

Last week I watched E! Entertainment Channel on Astro and Style Star was on. They crowned Kristen Stewart and Cameron Diaz as Free Spirited Chic Style Star. I don't know why do some people say Kristen is ugly and wierd but I think she is just GORGEOUS. We all know she is most comfortable in her jeans and t-shirts but she can surely glam it up if she wants to. I just can't help to say, S**K IT Richard Reed (the gossip guy who is featured on hitz.fm every weekdays morning with lame gossip)

I tried finding the video in youtube for sometime now and finally found it. To those who missed the show, here it is.

Kristen Stewart in Vogue talking about Twilight and beyond

Kristen Stewart is featured on the cover of US Vogue magazine in their February 2011 issue.

Kristen Stewart’s body can tell a million stories. Kinetic, she jiggles, feints, and darts as she talks, hanging back, looking off to the side, signaling resistance, a combinative intelligence. “The word I always use for her is vulpine.” says Jack Scott, who recently directed her in Welcome to the Rileys, in which she plays a teenage runaway and lap dancer. “Foxlike. She’s got that way of moving and being that you often find in her performances, a sort of wiliness.”

In other words, Stewart projects the kind of wary, rebellious edge that is so much more typical of her age group – she is 20 – than gleeful high spirits, which is problably one reason she is head and shoulders above her peers in Hollywood’s power pyramid, and a director’s darling. Scott heard about her from his friend Sean Penn after Penn cast her as the unmoored daughter of hippie parents in the memorable Into the Wild. “Sean said, ‘You’ve gotta see this kid,’ Scott recalls. “She’s just so alive!” For Bill Condon, currently ensconced in a year’s worth of filming for Breaking Dawn, the two-part finale of the mighty Twilight Saga, “Kristen was the top of my list of reasons to do this movie.”

Update on 'Breaking Dawn' Set

From the page of Nessie Mackenzie;

As you already know, the last chapter of the Twilight saga: Breaking Dawn is being filmed in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The cast is expected to move to Vancouver, Canada in February to end with the shooting of both movies (Breaking Dawn part I & Breaking Dawn part II).
Yes, they’re filming BD part I and part II at the same time. “They shoot the battle, then it’s the end, then another love scene. And that’s how it goes. Part I, part II. Part I, part II. Only interiors, though” Says our On-Set source. We’re guessing they’re shooting both films at the same time to avoid any kind of problems with their ages/look. But our source says “It’s also a post-production matter. It’ll be easier for them to edit the whole thing at the same time”
About the cast: “They’re having a great time on set. They’re not only working, but having fun with friends. Lots of private parties, movies and jokes. ”
“It’s like a huge family. Robert walks on set like ‘Where’s my daughter?’ (referring to Mackenzie). He’s really funny” It sounds like they’re having so much fun on set!

'Breaking Dawn' Cast Tweets About Filming and Photoshoot This Week

It seems that the cast is really enjoying themselves while filming 'Breaking Dawn'. Why shouldn't they be? They have the coolest job in the world. It is so cool to get to have fun at work. :)

On another note, The Vancouver Sun mentioned on one of its post that the cast will be back at Voncouver filming in a month.

And... the Twilight countdown begins. Just one month, vampire fans, until Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Launter touch down in Vancouver for filming of Breaking Dawn.

Ashley Greene Talks 'Breaking Dawn' to MTV

Recently, MTV had the chance to sit down with Ashley Greene, our cute lovable Alice Cullen and asked her few questions on 'Breaking Dawn'.

Ashley Greene has spent the first days of 2011 doing martial-arts training. If we didn't know she was gearing up for some vampire fisticuffs in "Breaking Dawn," we might say the 23-year-old is getting ready to kick, punch and otherwise pound into submission the next 12 months. Because after years spent as a beloved supporting player in the "Twilight" franchise, Greene is set to take her turn in 2011 as one of the series' breakout stars.
Yep, it's going to be a big year for Greene. That's why we've named her as one of MTV News' 11 to Watch in 2011. During a break from the "Breaking Dawn" set in Louisiana, the actress answered some questions via e-mail, hitting on subjects like working with Cyrus, her most anticipated "Breaking Dawn" scene and what it was like to see Kristen Stewart as a vampire.

MTV: 2011 is shaping up to be a big year for you, coming off all the "Twilight" exposure and now having some prominent roles in "The Apparition," "LOL" and a bunch of other projects coming down the line. Does 2011 feel like it's going to be a particularly big year?
Ashley Greene: Definitely. I'm very excited for it. While it will be sad to finish filming the last installment of "The Twilight Saga," I'm grateful to have so much to look forward to. There's so much going on and so many wonderful opportunities popping up for 2011, and somehow I feel very Zen right now — I'm in a good place!
MTV: Do you have any goals for the year beyond what you're already doing? What would you like to look back on at the end of the year and say, "I'm glad I accomplished that"?
Greene: "Twilight" and my upcoming projects have given me an amazing platform. I'm looking forward to doing as many diverse projects and roles as I can fit in this year! I'm also looking forward to continuing to make strides with mark's m.powerment campaign; it's important to me that I use my voice to inspire my young, female fans to pursue their dreams, just like I did. I'm so thankful for everything in 2010 and am extremely optimistic and excited about how much more can be accomplished this year.
MTV: Kristen Stewart said at the People's Choice Awards that she filmed some scenes as a vampire. What was your reaction to seeing Kristen as a vamp?
Greene: Glad to have her officially join the Cullen family!

'Twilight' composer Carter Burwell coming back for 'Breaking Dawn'

According to The Playlist, the scores for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1 and The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 will be composed by none other than Carter Burwell, the same composer responsible for Twilight: The Score.

Burwell has an existing relationship with the director of the final two parts, Bill Condon, having collaborated on “Kinsey” and “Gods And Monsters”.

This is fantastic news for most Twilight fans, as Twilight's score was the resounding favorite of the three (New Moon's was by Alexandre Desplat and Eclipse's was done by Howard Shore).

Since doing the Twilight soundtrack, Burwell has kept busy, making music for A Serious Man, Where The Wild Things Are, The Blind Side, Mildred Pierce, Howl, The Kids Are Alright, and True Grit.

Surely Carter Burwell's return to Breaking Dawn means "Bella's Lullaby" will make an appearance in the film (as it does in the book version of Breaking Dawn).

49 Year Old Twihard Immortalized Twilight on Her Skin!

Daily Mail UK reported that a 49 year old die-hard Twilight fan, Cathy Ward chose everything Twilight to be her first tattoo. When I say everything Twilight, it literally means almost everything. The tattoo is not as small as a butterfly tattoo that I would love to put one just on top of my butt-crack but she practically tattooed her whole back!

She was desperate to get almost the whole cast of blood-sucking characters on her back because she claims they helped her lose five stone.
Despite working in the cake department, she ditched calorie-laden foods in favour of getting stuck into the popular books and movies– and dropped 14 dress sizes in just six months.
Mrs Ward said: ‘A friend of mine got me the first film on DVD because I was feeling low.
‘Once I started I just couldn't stop myself. I had to go out and buy all the books and films. I got hooked. It became my way of rewarding myself.
You can read more at DailyMailUK

I don't know why, but Edward's head just at her waist made it look like it is a fat Edward. LOL But I love the Cullen Crest. I want that tattoo if I am allowed to.

'Twilight’ producer issues major ‘Breaking Dawn’ answers (SPOILER ALERT!)

I am certain Twihards are waiting anxiously for the final Twilight saga to premiere end of this year (November couldn't have come any faster). With the waiting comes a lot of speculations on how Stephenie Meyer's literary phenomenon would be translated on screen.

Addressing several important points regarding Breaking Dawn, Twilight producer, Wyck Godfrey spoke to USA Today from the set of Breaking Dawn. Here are some of the many details revealed in this interview.

The split:
“The first part will cover the wedding, the honeymoon and the birth." The film ends just before she embarks on her supernatural transformation.

Jacob’s Perspective:
“The story will break from her and follow Jacob throughout the course of the movie as he struggles with his own dilemma. There is a sense that as Bella and the Cullens (Edward's makeshift vampire clan) deal with her pregnancy, the world is still turning outside with Jacob.”

Honeymooning:
“It would be a crime against our audience to go R-rated." However, "this is based on a much more mature book. We need to progress and be more sophisticated.”

Birthing:
"She is looking through the haze, experiencing pain and everything rushing around her. We only see what she sees."

Staying PG-13:
"It does not become soft porn. It is a legitimate and important part of the movie, romantic and sensual."

Do check out the rest of USA Today’s interview with Godfrey for more details.

Top ten ‘Twilight’ moments to look forward to in 2011

2010 was an interesting year for the Twilight series. With the release of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 coming on November 18th, here are ten of the most exciting moments yet to come in 2011.

More filming

Filming on Breaking Dawn has been going on for a month (give or take) now, and it is expected to pick back up from the cast and crew’s winter holiday break on January 3rd. While we know that the Baton Rouge set of Breaking Dawn is locked up tightly, the cast has never been more active on Twitter than it has been this go-round. So, hopefully we’ll keep getting bits and pieces of information from them – not to mention some more of those special Breaking Dawn snapshots Bill Condon (director) has been doling out (for Thanksgiving and Christmas, so far). This should tide us over until ...

THE OFFICIAL GUIDE!

At lastttttt . . . On April 12th, Stephenie Meyer’s Official Guide will hit stores. It’s been a long time coming, and fans have been very eager to see what Meyer has cooked up to explain any missing pieces in the Saga. If Bree Tanner was any indication of what was in store with the Guide, it should be a very interesting addition to the collection. The same will be true if Volume 2 of the Twilight Graphic Novel hits stores this year.

Breaking Dawn photos, trailer, and promos

Like with Eclipse in 2010, fans can most certainly look forward to the moments when new still images, trailers, and TV spots start rolling out for Breaking Dawn. Of course, it won’t happen all at once or that simply, but throughout the year, we’ll start to see more and more from the movie as the theatrical release date for the film begins to near.

No doubt the first trailer will come by way of an important event (for example, with New Moon, the first trailer showed at the MTV Movie Awards), and still images will come out a few at a time, so the release of these things will probably become their own little events. That’s always pretty fun for Twilight fans.

The soundtrack and all its glory

Each of the Twilight series’ soundtracks have had their own unique story. With New Moon, we watched as a wealth of interest from bands and individual singers came about. So many Twilight-inspired songs came across the fan radar that it was hard to keep up.

Then Chris Weitz and Alexandra Patsavas ended up scoring tons of respected talent for individual songs tailored to the New Moon story/atmosphere. With Eclipse, the album was set apart by its unique marketing. In case you don’t remember what I’m referring to, fans were given a window of time to listen to the album streaming online before making a decision to purchase it. And with both, there was intense fan interest in which artists were selected to contribute to the soundtrack. And the results were impressive once again.

So the Breaking Dawn soundtrack will probably house a few important moments as well - the most exciting of which will be the release (followed closely by a first viewing of the film with the music accompanying). Same goes for the selection of a composer for the score (in all likelihood, one composer will do both Breaking Dawn scores for the sake of continuity – not confirmed, just speculation).

TV Awards

Already, there’s a TV Awards show appearance in the works for the cast: the 2011 People’s Choice Awards, where Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will represent the Twilight Saga. That’s just the first of what will undoubtedly be many Twilight TV appearances.

Note that in 2010, the Twilight cast showed at the MTV Movie Awards, the Scream Awards, the VMAs, the People’s Choice Awards, the Golden Globes, and even the Oscars.

Getting to know our Breaking Dawn newbies

In one way or another, we’re going to get to know more about the newest Breaking Dawn castmembers. Some are on Twitter, and that’ll definitely help those castmembers make themselves known to fans. With the others, there’ll probably be appearances and interviews coming here and there which will introduce each of them to the Twilight fandom. This will be particularly true near to the release date for the first part.

All throughout the Saga, there have always been new cast additions to speak of, and it’s always entertaining to hear what it’s like for these actors to step into such a notorious and followed film series. . . . and this'll be but a part of the . . .

Interview, Interview, Interview phase

There are going to be so many television, red carpet, magazine, and online interviews with the cast, crew, and filmmakers over 2011 that Twilight fans’ collective heads will be spinning by November.

During the thick of it, there comes a point – at least for Twilight site admins – where you have to decide which of the many, many clips and snippets get the most attention. It’s when there’s content overload like this that it becomes clear just how significant this series is at the moment.

Cast’s other projects

A lot of the Twilight cast’s other projects will be hitting theaters this year. And judging by IMDb’s recently discussed MOVIEmeter results, some of them have already been getting a heavy amount of interest. The ones fans seem to be most looking forward to are Water For Elephants (with Robert Pattinson), On The Road (with Kristen Stewart), and The Apparition (with Ashley Greene).

Breaking Dawn premiere

No Leno or awards show appearance will ever stack up to premiere night. Fans will, in devoted fashion, camp out in a sort of tent city for days to see the big event in person, and there’ll be livestream feeds all over the place for those who can’t make it to L.A. (assumption on location there). The cast, Stephenie Meyer, Bill Condon, soundtrack musicians, and filmmakers involved will all walk the red carpet in style. It’s definitely something to look forward to.

Breaking Dawn hits theaters

New Moon and Eclipse still have some records in pocket from their theatrical releases. No doubt the same will become true for Breaking Dawn, but more importantly, fans will get to finally see some of their favorite moments from the entire Saga on-screen.

Breaking Dawn 1 promises a wedding, a honeymoon, the introduction of new characters, and the beginning of new lives. The movie’s release date is November 18th.

'Breaking Dawn' is at No 2 Spot of Hollywood Crush Top 5 Films of 2011

It is easy to say that we lost to Harry Potter for the No 1 spot but No 2 is still a good number. :) I myself is actually looking forward to watch the final installment of Harry Potter and since it will come out in June before Breaking Dawn, it is obvious it will be in No 1 spot.

After Eclipse, who wouldn't expect a better ending with Breaking Dawn. Edward and Bella get married, go to honeymoon, have a child together and Bella becomes a gorgeous and powerful vampire. What more can you ask for?

After this in Eclipse, we can't wait for Breaking Dawn to come faster.

Hollywood Crush @MTV;

Okay, so this one's a no-brainer. We cannot wait for the fourth installment of the "Twilight" saga—our No. 2 most anticipated film of 2011—to hit theaters November 18.

We can already visualize the possibilities. Bella reaches for the cup of blood, unleashes a bloodcurdling scream and the screen goes blank! Or, Edward delivers the baby, turns to Bella, murmurs, "Renesmee" (signifying that the baby is not the boy Bella dreamed of, but a girl) and the screen goes blank! Or perhaps Bella endures the burning transformation, her heart dramatically stops beating, she opens her vampire eyes for the first time…and the screen goes blank! You get the picture.

Another dramatic breaking point could be slightly later, once Bella is happily settled into her new vampire existence. Alice foresees that the Volturi will come to destroy Renesmee and the Cullen clan, understandably causing mass panic. When Jacob arrives and asks what’s wrong, Bella gravely tells him, "It's over. We've all been sentenced to die." And, er, you guessed it—the screen goes blank. This scenario wouldn’t leave as much plot for the final movie, however the real action in "Breaking Dawn" begins after this moment.

Anyways, Breaking Dawn will always have a No 1 spot in twihards heart! :)

Robert Pattinson is Up for A New Role??

There has been a report saying that our British sweetheart will be starring in a movie by David Cronenberg upcoming movie adaption of 'Cosmopolitan'. He is a hot-stuff, isn't he? He already has three movies coming out this year, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Water For Elephants and Bel Ami and this means we will get to see more of him. :)

Robert at PCA ~super cute!!

GossipCop reported:

Robert Pattinson has reportedly signed on to star in David Cronenberg’s upcoming adaptation of Cosmopolis.
It’s not a done deal quite yet.
A source in Pattinson’s camp tells Gossip Cop they’re in “negotiations.”
Barring a hitch in the talks, Cosmopolis will be Pattinson’s next major role.
The movie, based on a novel by Don DeLillo, follows a young financial whiz named Eric Packer as he journeys across a major city by limo during one tumultuous day.
Marion Cotillard and Paul Giamatti are reportedly attached to the project.
Gossip Cop will update when the ink is dry

And just because I love this next pic, I am posting it here, for fun! :))

This one is even more super cute!!
