Such a beautiful Edward & Bella....*sigh* |
Remember, like, two weeks ago when we were all totally flipping our ish over that sneak preview of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 that aired at the Movie Awards?? We were all, "Zoinks. Bella's VEIL. And her RING. And EDWARD in a TUX," and fits of hysterical crying and laughing and crying again? Well, get the tissues ready because last night, Summit Entertainment confirmed via Facebook and Twitter that Bella's dress is designed by none other than gown guru Carolina Herrera.

NOW, we can use Caro's spring bridal collection and those sketches we saw back in April to predict what the dress is going to look like. The illustrated veil and Herrera's own design appear very similar—floor-length with dainty floral details along the hemlines—and given the designer's propensity for the delicately ornate and usage of elegant lines, it's safe to say that the dress in the film won't stray too far from the original sketch. The sketch has Bella with a bit of a neck situation, but we are hoping it is more refined than the dress on the right; cowls have never done anyone a service before. Our secret wish? The lacy, short-sleeve number to the far left. BUT dear omniscient Twilight gods (aka insiders running the movie's promotional calendar), we will NEVER forgive you if you reveal a single detail more about Bella's dress until the premiere. Seriously. Don't ruin this moment for us.

"I just feel bad for the women on the movie," Lutz said. "They're wearing these beautiful dresses, but they're skintight, and of course a lot of us are playing vampires so you have to not shiver, because vampires don't get cold. It was tough. It was really cold. A lot of times, the heaters went off and it rained, so it made the whole climate even more cold."
Lutz's co-star Peter Facinelli told us that, thanks to movie magic, we won't be seeing any of the rain or shivering "Twilight" castmembers once the film is finished.
"It's funny, because whenever we have a big important scene on 'Twilight' [movies], it rains. I was doing the baseball sequence [from 'Twilight'], and it was raining. But you never see it on film," Facinelli said of some editing tricks. "With this wedding, it rained the whole time we shot the two scenes. But you'll never see it on film. They block out the rain. They put tarps up and you'll never see it."
Twilighters recorded their reactions to the teaser, and MTV picked their faves.
At the 2011 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner presented the first look at the trailer for "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1." Knowing what a fan frenzy the first teaser would create, we asked our dedicated viewers and readers to record and upload their squeal-tastic "Breaking Dawn" reactions to Your.MTV.com, and promised that the top videos would air on MTV's "The Seven" on Monday (June 6).
Naturally, you did not disappoint. The winning video is, as expected, chock-full of all the things we've come to know and love from the most die-hard "Twilight" fans: girlish squeals and gasps of delight, jumping up and down, sighs and swoons all over the place. It is filled with such genuine adoration and emotion, it's almost impossible not to be charmed by the two adorable young ladies from Denmark, who posted their video with the user name AgneteFlygerHansen.

It's the event the world has been waiting for: You are hereby invited to the wedding of Isabella Marie Swan and Edward Anthony Masen Cullen.
MTV got their hands on the official "Breaking Dawn" wedding invitation that was used in the movie for Bella and Edward's nuptials. And if you caught the red-carpet pre-show during the "America's Best Dance Crew" finale, then you've already seen it with your own two eyes. Outlined in lavender and with the Cullen seal in wax embedded on the envelope, MTV has the exclusive invite to the wedding of the century.
"Together with their families, [Bella and Edward] request the honor of your presence at the celebration of their marriage," the invitation reads.

It seems like every year the Twilight series and its cast run away with the night's honors at the MTV Movie Awards, and we'll be watching to see if they do it again this weekend. In anticipation of the big show, let's take a look back at some of the most memorable Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner moments from the past awards — including Robert and Kristen's recurring will-they-or-won't-they-kiss routine! Then, check back with us on Sunday, as we'll be broadcasting live from the red carpet!
The prospect of an exclusive clip from "Breaking Dawn" already has Twilighters buzzing about Sunday's MTV Movie Awards, but the exclusives don't stop there: MTV is planning another special first look, which will roll out during the red-carpet pre-show.
The good news is, you won't have to wait long. Jackson Rathbone drops the first hint: "When you tune in to the MTV Movie Awards, you're gonna see something ultra special at the red carpet." Which means, of course, that the big reveal will happen before the glitz and glam of the Awards themselves (so you'll want to tune in for the pre-show at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT).
And another hint: The surprise is "something you've been waiting years for."
Tantalized? You should be! And here comes Elizabeth Reaser, with a few more details: "Is it possible there was a butterfly or something involved?" she mused. "I assume that there would be some lavender..."
Alright, alright, you got us: It's a butterfly in a field of lavender.
Just kidding! It's so much better than that. In fact, our mystery thingamabob is such a big, awesome deal that Elizabeth dropped a little too much information when she wrapped up her teaser, saying, "It is the most coveted [REDACTED!] in town."
Dying to see what's behind that bleep? Don't forget to tune in for the red carpet lead-in to the best bleeping awards show in town!
The MTV Movie Awards air Sunday, June 5 at 9/8 C. That will be Monday, 6th June at 9.00am on Malaysia time.
