PETALING JAYA: Galaxie has been named Entertainment Magazine Of The Year by trade magazine Advertising + Marketing.
Its editor Gordon Kho said: “We have managed to establish Galaxie as the go-to magazine when it comes to entertainment news.”
“Readers these days are sophisticated. It is not enough to just give them showbiz news. They want it in an attractive presentation. Galaxie gives equal focus to the design and layout of the magazine to cater to modern readers,” he added.
Advertising + Marketing editor Gabey Goh, said Galaxie emerged as the most favoured entertainment magazine to advertise in, as voted for by marketers and advertisers in this year's edition of the Magazine Of The Year rankings.
“Galaxie's ranking is proof of the brand's resilience in maintaining top of mind recall with marketers,” he said.
Advertising + Marketing's survey was conducted by Singapore-based research agency Boardroom Research with respondents polled from marketers/advertisers and marketing services agency professionals.
Despite talk inevitably turning to Taylor Lautner's upcoming action flick "Abduction" during his Wednesday (April 13), the questions we know everyone was dying to hear answered had to do with two other big movies he has on the horizon: "Breaking Dawn: Part 1" and "Part 2."
Still, Lautner admitted that there was one scene in particular that he shot not too long ago that he was a fan of because it was unlike any other that he's filmed with co-star Kristen Stewart.
"Recently we did a scene in the backyard of the Cullen house where Bella (Stewart) gets mad at me," he said. "She just learned that I imprinted on her daughter, and she is literally throwing me around the backyard. So it was pretty fun to see Kristen try and act all tough. She's a vampire; she's chucking me across the yard into trees and stuff. It was funny."

EW has not one but two exclusive images from Stephenie Meyer’s new book, The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide, which goes on sale April 12: Bella as a vampire and Bella in her wedding dress. A nice walk-up to the first Breaking Dawn film, no? I didn’t expect to like the first Twilight graphic novel as much as I did, and these illustrations are by that book’s illustrator, Young Kim, who did such a great job bringing Meyer’s characters to life.

So when he stopped by the MTV Newsroom last week to talk about his new Starz series "Camelot," we wanted to see how much he knew about each of the blockbuster movies.

Jamie knew the answers for both series about equally, which we have to say is pretty good considering how much mythology is involved with knowing even a little bit about either "Twilight" or "Harry Potter." And now that he's added "Camelot" to his resume, which is also steeped in a lot of back story, we are willing to add genius to Jamie's resume which already includes Hump Day Hottie and movie star.Source
This is not confirmed, but it seems Breaking Dawn may spend a day or two in Florida to shoot.
I first heard this a few days ago when someone told me there were some re-shoots of the honeymoon water scene that needed to be done. The lighting was off from original shoot. NO location given just that they had to re-shoot some of it.
Yesterday someone else told me the same thing but that they were shooting them somewhere on Vancouver Island.
Now this seemed absurd, even in the summer our waters are quite chilly, but in April? FREEZING!
Then today I was talking to someone who told me that while booking talent for WFE release parties Rob was unavailable for particular dates because he was in Florida for Breaking Dawn and Reese was already in Europe for WFE promotion / junket (with Rob joining her right after his Florida shoot.)
I asked another friend who is usually "in the know" and was told Florida honeymoon scenes were indeed scheduled.
So, based on all this it SEEMS there may be a day or two shoot right before Easter weekend in Florida.... No one mentioned a city, and I can't confirm 100% this is correct, but for now it seems likely just based on the number of separate people saying it.

As some of you may know, pictures and screen grabs of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn as a work in progress have leaked on the internet. We are extremely proud of this film and also extremely heartbroken to see it out there at this stage.
The film and these images are not yet ready or in their proper context. They were illegally obtained and their early dissemination is deeply upsetting to the actors, the filmmakers and Summit who are working so hard to bring these movies to fruition to you in November 2011 and November 2012.
Please, for those who are posting, stop. And please, though the temptation is high, don’t view or pass on these images. Wait for the film in its beautiful, finished entirety to thrill you.
