Scene sat down Winston Achee at our office on the lot at Raleigh Studios to discuss the dramatic increases in security measures here. Achee is chief of security for the Celtic Corporation, which owns the studio facility also known as the Celtic Media Centre.
In the weeks leading up to Twilight‘s arrival, Raleigh Studios has been steadily implementing new security measures, including vehicle identification requirements and unique photo badges that authorized personnel must display at all times. But, by far, the most significant change is a 600% increase in the size of the studios own security force.
In addition to the direct hires, another twenty man force has been added as well. “So, we’ll have on property at all times a forty-eight man force. We are not taking security on this property lightly,” Achee says.
The high profile project also brings its own high profile security. In addition to the personal body guards employed by stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, the production itself employs additional security. “The security that the production has brought doubles our own force,” says Achee. “We will absolutely prosecute every person who trespasses,” says Achee. “There have been six who trespassed before and they have all been caught.” When asked how he knew only six had trespassed before, Achee’s answer came quick: “Security cameras. The property is covered with high definition security cameras. A camera mounted on the [main building] can capture the license plate of a car all the way on the other side of the property.” The security camera system video is stored to a source that is backed up offsite. Additionally, the system has a back-up power supply that allows it to continue operating in the event of a power failure.

Hmmm....White and Red chess set....from the book cover, Brilliant! |
Here's a round-up of what's going down on the set of Breaking Dawn in Rio from twitters.
Filming at Isle Esme started around 10:30 am with scenes being shot inside the house. The scenes weren't shot in order. So they filmed the morning after scenes first (bruises and phone call) and the hot and steamy scenes were being shot later on that night.
There was only a few people on the set. Rob, Kristen, about 2 or 3 cameramen and Bill.
It hasn't been confirmed if Stephenie Meyer was there or not but it has been "rumoured" that she was present at the filming of the bedroom scenes.
Then they moved onto the beach where "according" to a fan there, Kristen recorded the waterfall scene in a white bikini and shorts. "Rumour" also has it that it was Steph's idea that Kristen wear shorts over her swimsuit for that scene.
There was a boat full of papz at the island pointing to the house where they were staying (the production house), not the house that they were filming at, although as you can see from the photo above they didn't have much chance of getting any pics as the house was bocked off and there was a security boat on patrol.
The water sex scene wrapped at 1am. Bill Condon was very happy. Filming should wrap today (Nov 11th) with just a few details left to shoot. It's said that Rob and Kristen are to leave Brazil Saturday (Nov 13th).

Robert Pattinson with director Bill Condon
Sérgio Sá Leitão, whose Twitter page was instrumental in confirming that production would head to Brazil from the outset, issued fans a few updates on Twitter once again:
News from the front … Everything to be perfect on the set of Dawn. 300 + extras. Whimsical production. The river will be beautiful in the movie!
The director Bill Condon is on set! As you can see our plans worked out well! I feel that our efforts were not in vain! Congratulations to the fans! All quiet!
Before any of this happened, Pattinson and Stewart stepped onto the balcony of their hotel to wave a kind hello to awaiting fans.
